Man, am I behind the times. I just learned that Ted Greene, an unbelievably gifted guitarist, author and teacher passed away in July of this year. I have several of his books (thank God for the printed page). One of which, Modern Chord Progressions, I've had since I was 19. That book really opened my eyes and ears to the possiblity that the guitar is infinite and limitless. Of all the books of guitar related theory I own, it is the one I still go to the most. His mastery of chord voicings is a thing of beauty. If you play guitar, check out Chord Chemistry and Single Note Soloing, too. Those books will keep you busy for years, if not the rest of your life. Do yourself a favor: find them and buy them. Try Ebay. Or Amazon. To read Ted's obituary, please click here: www.dansindel.us/TedGreeneLATimes.htm.

There is a great write up about Ted Greene in this months' issue of Guitar Player Magazine. Sir Paul is on the cover. The write up includes a chord lesson Greene submitted to GP years ago. A classic.
