I can't remember the last current CD I purchased. Most of the music I hear on the radio leaves me nostalgic for the days when guitar players actually had respect for the instrument.
But that changed last week.
Avenged Sevenfold.
Wow. This band is really something else. My friend Jimmy told me about these guys. Their new CD is called "City Of Evil", and it's a guitar player's dream. Solos! Real guitar solos! Plus the vocal harmonies are beautiful and the drummer is just plain ridiculous, one of the best I've heard.
So, I bought a new CD! Check 'em out.
